Terms of Use
Effective October 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of the mobile quiz game “Globeloria”. By installing or playing the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

1. Who can play
The game is meant for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, you may make purchases in the game only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
You can play straight away as a guest or sign in with Google. A guest account is tied to the device: if you delete the app or change devices without signing in with Google, your progress and purchases most likely cannot be restored. You are responsible for what happens in your account and do not hand it over to others.
3. Globes
- Globes are the in-game currency. They are spent to start rounds and to take hints.
- Globes can be earned for free (the welcome gift, the regular free allowance, achievements, watching ads) or bought.
- Globes have no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged or refunded for money, transferred to another player or sold.
- We may change how many globes a round or a hint costs and how many are given for free.
4. Purchases
In the game you can buy packs of globes, “Unlimited play” (rounds and hints no longer cost globes) and access to paid topics. Prices are shown in the app store before you pay.
- Payment is taken by Google Play (or the App Store on Apple devices) under its own rules. We never receive your card details.
- A purchase is linked to your game account and becomes available as soon as the store confirms it.
- “Unlimited play” and paid topics are bought once and last as long as your account exists and the game is running.
- Purchases are digital content delivered immediately. By confirming a purchase you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that, where the law allows, you then lose the right to withdraw from it.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you paid in (Google Play or the App Store) under its own rules. If the store refunds you, we take back what was bought: the globes of the pack are deducted, or “Unlimited play” or the paid topic is closed. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer rights the law of your country gives you.
6. Ads
The game shows ads, including rewarded videos. A globe for a video is credited only once the ad network confirms it was watched. The number of rewarded videos may be limited.
7. Fair play
You may not:
- use bots, scripts, modified versions of the app or any other means of automating play;
- exploit bugs in the game to get globes, purchases or achievements;
- create accounts, or delete and recreate them, to collect free globes again;
- interfere with the servers, or decompile or reverse engineer the app or the server, except where the law expressly allows it;
- copy questions, answers and pictures in bulk.
If you break these rules, we may cancel what was gained unfairly, and restrict or block the account.
8. Questions and other content
The questions, answers, explanations, pictures, design and code of the game belong to the developer or are used under licence. You may use them only to play for your own non-commercial purposes. Sharing a question with friends is fine; publishing or selling collections of them is not.
We check the facts carefully, but mistakes are possible. The questions are for entertainment and are not professional advice. If you spot a mistake, report it right in the game and we will fix it.
9. Changes to the game
We keep developing the game: we add, change and remove questions and topics and change the rules of rounds and the prices. The game is provided “as is”: we do our best to keep it running smoothly but cannot guarantee it. If we decide to shut the game down, we will give notice in the app or on the website in advance.
10. Deleting and blocking accounts
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on the account deletion page. Globes, “Unlimited play”, unlocked paid topics and achievements are lost for good together with the account, and no money is returned for them. We may block an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
11. Liability
To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or loss of data, and our total liability to you does not exceed what you paid for purchases in the game over the last 12 months. This does not limit any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top. We will give notice of significant changes in advance. By continuing to play afterwards, you accept the new terms.
